FIU Generic BSN 2022

Hey everyone! 

I saw that there hasn't been a forum made yet for the Generic fall 2022 nursing program for FIU and decided to create one! I am in the middle of the application process and I am still studying for my TEAS. Any tips?

Wait, so you want to apply for Fall 2023 right? 

If so, I think you have really good chances if you take the TEAS again and study for the concepts you didn’t do quite well in! Your science score looks really nice and so does your GPA!

Writing: 74.5 (I think) 

GPA: 4.00

Science GPA: 4.00

Volunteer Hours: 300 hrs

(I did these hours at a pediatric office)

It’s a pediatric office that I have been going to since I was a baby in Kendall, I’m not sure if my supervisor wants me to give the name of it.

Yes, I almost had a heart attack when I saw "We'd like to thank you for applying". They said 2-3 weeks from now we should be getting decision letters.

Haha, seriously, I thought I was about to get rejected. Do we still have to resend our official transcripts if we are from another school though? I sent them from the start of applying to FIU and I was already done with my AA.

I don’t think so. My last name is Sanchez. I got a 92 on the ATI test. Maybe that’s why I got the decision early.

Okay good to know. My last name is Rivero so hopefully, I get a yes or no soon. Sooo anxious
