FIU Generic BSN 2022

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hey everyone!

I saw that there hasn't been a forum made yet for the Generic fall 2022 nursing program for FIU and decided to create one! I am in the middle of the application process and I am still studying for my TEAS. Any tips?

Thanks for your reply! I also got 100 in the math section and I didn't know that you can still add things to your application after submitting! However, I would only have until the middle of May, correct? Since that is when they usually send out decision letters. By any chance, do you know any place with a good volunteer program?

That's great! Congrats on the TEAS!
You can try going to  Volunteermatch.org and see what organizations are close to you. I did some hours at Miami Rescue Mission, a homeless shelter for men and women. I helped pass out food, etc.

Hey guys. Quick question how can I study or what books or sources can I use to get that score in the TEAS? So how you guys did it how many hours a day or which sources you used and how are they similar to the actual test? Starting to study for it and don't know for how long   Thanks

hey! So I studied consistently for two weeks. I bought the mometrix book from amazon, however, the science section in that book is really long and can be overwhelming. So I tried to do learn one body system every day. I would read the section from the book from whichever body system I was learning and then go on YouTube and watch the channel science with susanna I found her videos to be extremely helpful in breaking down the body systems. Other than that, the math is honestly cake, very basic things that can be learned in a day. For english, make sure you know the grammar rules and sentence structures (mometrix explains all of that really well). Overall, the TEAS isn't that bad, it's just very broad so make sure to be consistent. Good luck!!

OMG. Thank you so much for your response. People tell me is hard. And honestly I am also studying with mometrix and at some point I also thought to be long. It also gives you hard math here so. Will try my best tl go over science this week and following week trying to finish it. I am worry about forgetting everything at the time of the test. It's a lot of information to have in mind

Yeah the science portion is definitely the hardest, even the smallest details can show up on the test. Just try not to doubt yourself. I was a nervous wreck on the day of the test but I tried being positive and it worked out LOL! You got this!

Thank you so much for your help. I hope I will do good.
