  1. Hi all! I hope everyone is doing well! I know this is an old thread but I start the AGACNP at UM in the Spring of 2026 and would like some insight on how everyone did throughout the program! Was it difficult? Tedious? Any advice (or resources) are greatly appreciated! Thank you :)
  2. I asked for neurology as my first choice and was lucky enough to get it! After I applied, I was informed the floor was upgraded to a step-down unit so that was a plus!
  3. I applied July and was offered a position on Sept 11th. I start Oct 28th.
  4. That's great! Congrats on the TEAS! You can try going to Volunteermatch.org and see what organizations are close to you. I did some hours at Miami Rescue Mission, a homeless shelter for men and women. I helped pass out food, etc.
  5. Hi! I got in with a 3.8 sGPA and an 88 TEAS score; got a 94 in science and 100 in math, though. Our cohort's average sGPA was a 3.79 and average TEAS was an 85. I also had over 100 hours in community service and volunteer hours at a special need's facility for children. You still have time/Summer to get in at least 50 hours of community service before you apply. Something is better than nothing. Remember you can always ADD (not change) things to your application once you submit it! Being BLS and EKG certified really won't do much except fluff up your application, since its required to be certified once you're in the program (not a prerequisite for the program but rather a requirement once you get accepted and go through orientation). Having strong letters of recommendation from an employer/volunteer coordinator would be your best bet.
  6. Thank you for creating the page!! Just joined. -Dariel D.
  7. Do you know how big our cohort will be/is?
  8. Hi! The enthusiast in me wants to go to the orientation, but the introvert in me says attend via zoom ?? but we should def make a FB page !
  9. Sorry, I was just able to log on here! And yes, it helped a lot! Thank you so much!
  10. Hi guys! When entering Employment Verification in COMPLIO, what exactly are we submitting? Is it a paper/form from our employers both current and previous? I am a little confused as to what they are asking for. Thanks in advance!
  11. Got my admissions email yesterday !! So excited !! Waiting for the AOBSN letter, now! Good luck to everyone!
  12. My heart skips a beat every time I get an email notifying me that someone commented on this post. ?? Patiently waiting…
  13. I am on the same boat. I scored an 88 on the TEAS and a 3.6 sGPA I also have about 250 volunteer hours (not medical related). Hope that is good enough to get in though *bites nails*
