  1. For our cohort, they gave us specific schedules that we could choose from, and when you’re enrolling, you have to choose the classes from that schedule, so you will be able to know what times you might get, however, enrolling it’s very intense and it all happens really fast. Some people got scheduled they didn’t like and other really liked their schedules, is it depends how fast you’re able to get your classes in order to see which times you get. Some people in a program didn’t get to have much flexibility when choosing their schedules but it might change for next year.
  2. So helpful that you created a page! I just requested to join! My name is Flor!
  3. I JUST GOT MY ADMISSION EMAIL!!
  4. Sorry to bother but has anyone else received an admission email?
  5. Haha, seriously, I thought I was about to get rejected. Do we still have to resend our official transcripts if we are from another school though? I sent them from the start of applying to FIU and I was already done with my AA.
  6. Did anyone else receive the email about the transcripts?
  7. It’s a pediatric office that I have been going to since I was a baby in Kendall, I’m not sure if my supervisor wants me to give the name of it.
  8. Wait, so you want to apply for Fall 2023 right? If so, I think you have really good chances if you take the TEAS again and study for the concepts you didn’t do quite well in! Your science score looks really nice and so does your GPA!
  9. Also guys I’m super nervous, I feel like everything I have is good except for my TEAS score, can someone please give me some input? I only rlly applied to FIU for a BSN degree because I know that other schools are crazy expensive. Please let me know what you think, and be honest! TEAS: 82% Science: 80% Math: 93.1% Reading: 75.6% Writing: 74.5 (I think) GPA: 4.00 Science GPA: 4.00 Volunteer Hours: 300 hrs (I did these hours at a pediatric office)
  10. I think they send out the acceptance emails during mid-May, that’s what they had said after I submitted my NursingCAS application for FIU
  11. Hey Eduardo, Did you use anything else besides the Mometrix book or Nursehub? Any Youtube videos you recommend?
  12. Wow! That’s great! I still have yet to take the TEAS, how was it? I’ve heard that in the science portion, mainly with anatomy and physiology, it’s usually just the basics of all the body systems, is that true?
  13. Oh, okay, because I've done some hours that aren't medical-related and I'm not sure if they're going to accept it, especially since it's still difficult to volunteer at a hospital with the pandemic and all.
  14. Do you know if the volunteer hours has to be related to the medical field or if it can be any type of service hours?
  15. That’s good to hear! I’m so nervous to take it, I hear you have to get a pretty high score to be accepted, it’s so competitive. Have you done any volunteer hours for your application?
