FIU Generic BSN 2014

Published

Hi everyone!

I'm not sure if there is another thread for FIU's 2014 generic BSN program, but I figured I'd make one. I just wanted to see if there was anyone else who applied? I finished applying about a week ago and I was hoping maybe someone in the program could give us some advice or insight on how they like the program.

Thanks! And good luck everyone!!

@Lj26 I JUST had mine done. I have insurance throught the VA and you get one every year hoever their next appointment is also 3 months away, my imminization record is in Germany somewhere. I went to CHI in perrine, and they did one, but forgot the Rubeola titer, so I had the shot to complete the titer and get it over with. Also, if you are a Florida native, and went to high school here there's a system that can be accessed by a doctors office showing your immunizations, you can just call and ask your doctors office if they can check for you. I hope that helps.

Hey guys! I received my email may 21st with my acceptance! I'm so excited! Orientation is June 10th so anyone wants to meet there?

Hey sure can we message here ?

I have no idea if we can, i just became a member, and I don't know how to use this website lol...You are going to the 8th street campus right?

Specializes in ICU.

Hi guys! I also got accepted for the Fall 2014. Congrats to everyone!

I have a question. Do we have to make any kind of the deposit to accept the offer to the program? I know that it was required for previous years...

You have to pay a crap load of fee's but not all of them are for the generic bsn program. For example: you have to pay 200 dollar to be admitted to fiu.. Everyone has to pay that fee...and if you got accepted and you started knocking out some of the requirement, you probably realized that all of those objectives comes with it's on fee. Anyway, I kind of curious to find out how many guys got accepted, because I'm starting to feel like the only one, and how do we dress for orientation? I don't want to be overdressed or underdressed!... Will it be formal with a suite and tie or can we sport polo shirts?

Yeah I had the same question about orientation. Ill ask my friend, she just graduated the program.

Hi, of those that DID get admitted, do you mind sharing your stats with me? Thank you!
