Hello! Yep I got the email about a couple days ago, about the link for the video essay? I'm so anxious to find out whether I got in or not, I'm not sure if I could wait till May! Did you apply to any other schools?

Right me too, I was soooooo nervous when o got the email lol...I'm applying to famu as well but I really prefer Fiu.. I did terrible on the teas exam 65.3 but I gotta 4.0 GPA ....I spoke to the guy and he said I should still apply, what about u,? How did u do on everything else ? Will they give denial letters as well ?

Haha me too, my heart dropped! I didn't do so well on the TEAS either I ran out of time in two different sections and ended up with a 74%. I was planning to retake it to time myself better but I didn't have a 30 day gap before the deadline to apply so I just stuck with that score. I know online it says we need a 70% comprehensive score and a 62% science score to apply, but considering you have an amazing GPA I'm sure it'll help you out a lot! One of the advisors told me a lot of people weren't passing so I'm not sure how they'll score everyone. My cum GPA is a 3.77 and my science is a 4.0. Do you have any volunteer hours? Because I know that always helps people get accepted. The video essay was easier than I expected.. it took me a couple days to record it but I would much rather do that than an essay! I'm assuming they will send out emails to whoever gets accepted/denied or is on the waiting list. I know last year they let people know in the middle of May, but it seems so far away!! I'm going crazy and it's only been about a week! :arghh:

I don't have any volunteer hours, or anything...ya the guy told me the say about a lot of students were failing the exam, I really hope I did a really good video....Hey Holistic, How did your apication process go?

Hey guys :). It took me forever to get the video right. Lol I'm a pharmacy tech and have some work experience. My GPa is a 3.68 hopefully I finish off this semester with a 3.76 and my pre-req GPa is a 4.0 . Teas overall 82 science 79. I studied a lot for it. Have you guys applied anywhere else?

I haven't applied anywhere else. I know I probably should but realistically there's no other school I want to go to I received a scholarship at FIU so I'm really hoping I can get into the nursing program. Did you apply elsewhere?

I applied to nova and Barry. Fiu is my first choice too. But you still have time to apply. You never know.

Hi, I applied to the program too. I applied to USF also, but Fiu is my first choice. I didn't do well on my first teas test, but I retook it and got 85.3, which I've heard is a pretty good grade. I study a lot for that test, and I was surprised that many of the questions were not on the ati study guide. That made the test really hard!!! My gpa is 3.89 with 4.0 on science. The video took me weeks and I'm not even sure if it's ok, I've heard those questions are tricky. Does anybody know if it is possible to work while in the program? People have told it is really hard, and not recommended.
