FIU Generic BSN Fall 2013

Hello!

I just wanted to see if there is anyone applying to FIU's BSN program for Fall 2013?

I haven't seen any threads for the BSN Fall 2013, so I decided to start one so we can all share our stories and see if maybe there is someone already in the college of nursing that could give us some advice or insight on the program itself.

Where is PCA Rm. 135 located?

Come in the main entrance to FIU off of 8th st. When you come in, go to the first stop sign and hang a left. Park in the first parking lot you come to (if it allows guests...I'm not sure), it will be on your left. The building is the architecture building, it is right across the street from the parking lot...it is a big white building, room 135 will be on the opposite side. I had a class in that same room last semester :) Hope that helps!!!

Did anyone start their immunizations yet? I received an email we will not be registered for classes until we complete our immunizations.

I was actually just thinking the same thing. On the same site that they told us to go to get our background check done there is also an Immunization Tracking thing...I have had (I think) all of those immunizations done when I was little, but there are a bunch of spaces to input info about titer shots and all kinds of stuff like that. I was just really confused...do we have to fill in every space?

Yeah the whole Immunization tracking is confusing, have you payed the $30 dollars yet??

Not yet. I've only created the account and that's about it. I need to find out from my doctor which ones I've done so I can fill in all those blanks. On another note, ORIENTATION NEXT WEEK! WOO! :D

Yes orientation is next week! I cant wait! Hey does anyone want to meet up over there? We could wear something of the same color or pm each other our cell # and meet up there?
