FIU FNP Fall 2017

Hello! So I had decided to create a blog for those interested in the FIU's program for the upcoming fall. It's a bit early since applications are accepted in December. I signed up for nursingcas and tried looking for their program but for some reason it is not listed yet. Not sure if it's because it's too soon but I see other schools listed and it also starts the same time. I graduated last December and currently working full time and I just have an urge to go back to school now. Hope to hear from you guys soon! :)

haven't heard anything, I'm asking a friend for info and I emailed nancy. i imagine they would send out all acceptance for FNP the same day . hope I'm wrong though. when I hear back I'll let you guys know

My friend who also applied thought the same thing. Why wouldn't they send out all the acceptance emails the same day? I have not received any notification of being accepted which is surprising since I felt the interview went well. I haven't lost hope but my friend has. If I don't get in then I will apply to UM for Jan and Chamberlain. Good luck! I hope this is not it for us

Hi guys, I didn't get an email. I was told via telephone. This is the same case for the other two people that got in as well. She did mention that Nancy will be sending the acceptance letters in the mail to us soon.

That's so interesting.... did you call them for something or did they call you? I'm assuming it will be email and not snail mail right? Sorry for all the questions just getting a tad nervous over here

Hey no worries, I don't mind the questions. They called me. They said I was one of their top candidates. I'm assuming that's why I received a personal call. I honestly don't think they've even started sending out emails yet. So don't be nervous , I'm sure you will get in.

Yes my two other friends received phone calls. I don't know of anyone that has received an email. I don't think they have sent the emails out yet. Remember they said it could take up to a month for decisions.

so Nancy wrote me back that acceptance letters not going out until near end of May as they are still interviewing and holding spots

Anyone from any of the specialties hear anything? I applied for psych NP msn and assumed it wasn't a very popular track and that I'd hear back quickly. I just want to know so I can stop worrying about it.
