Hello! So I had decided to create a blog for those interested in the FIU's program for the upcoming fall. It's a bit early since applications are accepted in December. I signed up for nursingcas and tried looking for their program but for some reason it is not listed yet. Not sure if it's because it's too soon but I see other schools listed and it also starts the same time. I graduated last December and currently working full time and I just have an urge to go back to school now. Hope to hear from you guys soon! :)

did any of you receive the acceptance packets yet? I emailed Nancy and she said they went out last week. I still haven't received mine yet.

@PedsRN: Thanks for responding! I plan on doing the same since the score doesn't matter and it's last minute. I'm taking it on the 13th.

@Maryberry: I have not received anything yet but Nancy has been communicating with me via email. Maybe it will come after all the pre requirements are fulfilled on our end. Not sure but it will come.

Does anyone know when the first day of classes will be/what date the semester starts?

From what it seems maybe we do not receive anything through mail but just via email of our acceptance or decline.

I had asked Nancy and she said that when we attend the orientation on July 14th they will go over that with us. Im kind of curious to know what day out of the week it is and if it's a lecture versus discussion class. If anyone knows someone that is in the program that they can give us an insight that would be appreciated!

I am looking into FIU's Pediatric BSN-DNP program and would like to know if anyone accepted into the program would mind sharing any tips for getting in and possibly their stats (GPA, experience, ect.) . I would really appreciate it :).

Hello! Can someone tell please where I can locate the BSN-DNP PMHNP Supplemental application on the website, I can only find the page where you pay $30 fee. Thank you for your help! :)
