I just wanted to start a thread for those interested in FIU's BSN-DNP route. Deadlines are March (for Fall 2020) and August (for Spring 2021)
For me, I am very interested in their pediatric specialty. I am just beginning to look up information and would love to hear everyones experiences with applications.
Currently I am finishing my BSN (finishes in Aug 2020)... and wondering if I would even be able to apply to any of the upcoming start dates.
@Future_DNP2020 I never got an email response.... Im the type where Ill give a call too LOL. I may call Friday just to check in if I don't hear anything.

They actually have a CV template through FIU you can find it in nursingCAS when you apply.

Hey! Thats great, Im glad to hear they specifically said early October. I am anxiously waiting haha. I myself am applying for peds. Someone earlier in this thread, who got into the program a semester ago, actually posted some of the interview questions they were asked, I'll paste it again here -
1) tell me about yourself
2) why did you choose FIU?
3) what leadership roles have you participate in at work?
4) how have you prepared yourself for this program?
5) one clincal question ( questions vary depending on what specialty you will be applying for)
Update: I received an email that I'm sure you all have received as well. Calls for interviews will go out next week. Interviews will take place oct. 19-23rd via zoom.
