Hey all!

I applied to the February 2018 start date for Chapel Hill and was wondering if anyone has heard anything yet. There's a rumor that Chapel Hill drags with the application process compared to other NC hospital systems.

UNC literally takes forever and a day to go through their application process. I applied in January 2017 and got an offer to interview after I had already started a job at Duke in July.

Thanks for getting back to me! I have an interview at Duke, but am unsure whether I will take it because it is not the specialty I would like. Do you recommend Duke?

I also applied for the Feb 2018 start! My application has been "in review" since Sept 20th though...

My classmates didn't start hearing back until April, and I got an interview offer the day after I had accepted my job. One person heard back sooner, but they had a connection in that unit. Good luck, hopefully they can get back quicker since there are less people in December!

I enjoy Duke. I really like my unit (PACU) and the schedule and benefits are awesome. I work in one of the very few units with no rotating schedule of days/nights and I don't work weekends.

Got a call! Will update when I hear back!!

Congrats! Which unit!

Teedlepeep, have you heard anything?

Does anyone know if it's too late to apply still?? If not do you mind sending me a link please. I haven't been able to find anything concrete online

if you just google UNC Chapel Hill New Grad Program it should come up. Otherwise: Careers at UNC Health Care
