Wow, it has certainly been a busy few weeks for me! Two weeks ago I completed the TEASV, the following day I was interviewed, and the following Monday I was in classes. Shout-out to anyone in Central New York area who may be in a LPN Program as well!
My teacher shares some great practical/real life experience which makes class discussions interesting. So far, the course has a lot of independent reading but we do start lab next week! I'm nervous but excited. Wish me luck! I feel like I will need it.
Questions for LPN's: When you were completing your program, what aspects did you find most challenging? What did you enjoy the most?
I also wanted to send out encouragement! If you put the effort in, you will be successful!

First, congrats on the start of school :). I don't really have any pointers or experiences to share with you, as I have no started yet (September), but I am patiently waiting :). I am so excited to start, and it sounds like you have a great teacher!

Wow, how exciting! I am 7 months into my 10 month program and I have a love/hate relationship with nursing school, lol. I am finding this semester MUCH harder than the first one. My biggest advice to any nursing student is to find your people. I have a small group of friends who have been invaluable to me, and (hopefully) I to them. Find the students who can be supportive, serious students, and good study partners. One of us had car trouble and was able to get rides to school and clinical for a couple of days while that got sorted out. You *can* go it alone but it's infinitely harder to do so. HUGS and congrats!
