Thoughts on nurses who graduate nursing school calling themselves nurses before the NCLEX
License Practical Nurse = Nurse. I know RN's who refer to LPN as the nurse on your side. I have never heard a LPN say I'm your LPN today. They say I'm your Nurse today.

Did anyone feel this way when they first started working as a CNA?
Expect a lot of hard work and sometimes being unappreciated. It's always tough to be a new CNA because you haven't yet developed a routine. Once you become familiar with your surroundings and patients your job will become easier. Also, treat every patient as if they where your mother or father. Make sure they look neat and clean. Take the extra time to straighten up the rooms. Appearance goes along way and the nurses and family members will know you do good work. I worked as a CNA for many years and just recently became a nurse. I perfected my job as a CNA and felt it was time for me to move up the ladder and become the nurse . I would suggest you eventually go back to school for nursing.

CNA claiming to be a nurse
I think a lot of places have CNAs who pretend to be nurses. The problem is with the CNA but also the upper management who allows this behavior to go on.

negative coworkers
UPDATE: Passed NCLEX 4/24/15 and I'm still working at the same facility. Life is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do you study for the NCLEX?
Know your content and practice as many questions as possible. Also go over procedures like inserting a NG tube, inserting catheters, etc... Try to study the subjects that you are weak in the most. And last but not least PRAY!

Pearson vue trick
I took NCLEX 4/24/15 early in the morning. I was at the testing site for around 2 hours. I went home checked the Pearson vue website and it stated results unavailable. So I waited 48 hours did the Pearson vue trick, It took me to the credit card page. I entered my cc information, hit submit and was registered for another exam. I felt horrible because I must have failed if I was able to register again. I then decided to get the quick results just so it would confirm that I failed my test, but when I payed the fee it said PASS. I was shocked, confused, and somewhat happy but I thought to myself this may be a mistake. Forward 2 days I checked my state BON and there it was my name and license number. So do I think the pvt trick is 100% accurate? HELLLLLL NOOOOOO

Nclex 3rd, Waiting for Result, continue study
If you really want to know if you passed why not pay the 7.95 and see. I took the nclex pn 4/24/15. According to the pvt trick I failed because it didn't work for me so I wouldn't trust that source. I waited 48 hours after testing paid the 7.95 and was relieved when it said pass.

Anyone only use 1-3 resources and pass NCLEX?
I used Saunders Q&A cd and glanced at exam cram. I really didn't study too much. And I did pass nclex 1st try.

So I failed my NCLEX-PN at 205 questions
I took nclex pn on 4/24/15 and had 205 questions. I thought I failed but paid for results and passed. I'm sorry for you guys but it's not the end of the world. You can always retake the test. All I used was Saunders and exam cram. Good luck you will pass the next time.

NCLEX-PN MAY 2015
Hi everyone I'm taking the NCLEX PN on April 29th and I'm nervous as hell. I have so much riding on this test. I wasn't the best student but far from being the worst. It is just frustrating because you really don't know where to begin with studying. It is difficult for me to concentrate because I have personal issues going on like being homeless due to getting evicted for my sons' bad behavior. On top of that he will be going to the slammer in a few weeks. He has always been a good kid but my year in school was the worst because all I could think about was him. I know I have to get focused but its hard. I had a 90% chance of passing the nclex the first time according to the comprehensive exam I took at school. I'm depressed, anxious and confused. Does anyone have any advice for me.

NCLEX PN
I know SATA is a format of a question but every question has a subject.

NCLEX PN
For those of you who already took the NCLEX PN. What subjects was the SATA on?

Hopeful LPN student.
I recently graduated from an LPN program. All I can say is pay attention and study hard. Whatever your lecture is on for the day read your chapters. The LPN program is hard but doable, you just have so much info to remember in such a short time. Like I said I recently graduated and now I'm studying for the NCLEX. Graduating from the program is a wonderful feeling but after graduation the anxiety and fear starts setting in because you have that important test that determines your whole future. I would suggest not applying for a GPN license only because in my opinion it is a waste of money and if you do take the NCLEX and don't pass all your noisy coworkers will know by looking up your name on the verify my license page. Anyway, good luck and study hard. And remember anything is obtainable if you want it bad enough.
