I took the examination at 8:00 on Feb 12 2009 in Guam.
When the computer stopped at 75, I was so scared just like those who share their experiences in other thread!
I got 75 questions, 10 SATA, 2 medicaiton, 3 infection, many prioriy and education.
btw, I'm an internationally educated student without SSN.
I checked grade via pearson quick result service 2 hour ago (about 48-72 hours after exam) and it showed pass.
Just to clear up things here:There is not one state in the entire US that requires the SSN# before they will grant approval to sit for the NCLEX exam. That being said, the majority of states now do not issue an actual license without a SSN#.
Guam is actually a US territory in the South Pacific. Even for the states that do not issue a license without a SSN#, they can still participate in Quick Results on Pearson-Vue if the state or territory participates in it.

Congratulations on passing the exam and best of luck to you.
Miss Suzanne, is that how one should write the name if you graduated with a BS? i thought it was RN, BSN. So i guess its RN, BS. Thanks!
Oh, okay. Thanks! Can everybody do what you did? Coz i have friends who are about to take the exam and they dont have SSN...can they do what you did just so they can know about the results immediately? They live in the Philippines and will take the exam there. I think they all applied in california BON.Sorry i was shocked about you story that i forgot to congratulate you! Cheers to your hardwork!!! God bless!!!
If they applied to Ca and have no SSN then they have no choice but to wait for snail mail approx 4 weeks. I hope they are also aware of the 3 year rule and file destroyed if they do not submit a SSN and with retrogression looking at longer than 3 years to get a visa

If the degree that was issued was not the BSN, then one cannot use that title or designation.
I do not hold a BSN, and have a Bachelor's degree; so that is why I list BS.
But I do not use my titles other than RN when signing a chart, would take way too much time on a daily basis.
RN suits me just fine, I know about my other aLphabet soup letters. And there are many.
