I wanted to start a new thread since the first round of placements for the Maricopa Community Colleges are soon approaching. Let's continue to encourage each other and keep each other informed by sharing your exciting news about your placement. Since the status page stated that the bulk of the notifications will be from students in the Feb/Mar 09 range, please if at all possible let us know when your date/time stamp is so it can give the rest of us some small indication of where we are in the process.
Judging by the responses of those getting in, that puts it at around a 1.5-1.75 year wait. Sounds about right, judging from their website. I was under the impression that it was going to be much longer!
Ugh...did not get placed this round for GCC weekend program...time stamp 6/16/09 8:00:17. Not sure when the next placement will be, but I will keep my fingers crossed. Congrats to those that got in today!!
Hi everyone. I got accepted to my second choice, Estrella Mountain/traditional!!! My date/time stamp was 6/16/09 8:01:30 a.m. I"m so excited!! Good luck to everyone.
I am stamped June 16 and I see that you got into the GCC Weekend Day program with an April timestamp. Would you please tell me your the time on your stamp? I am trying to figure out if I will be able to get into it next semester. Thank you so much!

Earlier when I looked on the placement page (right after they finished placing) it stated that the most recent time stamp placed was 6/16/09 8:03:45. Later they removed the exact time and just generalized the placement status with 6/16/09 as the most recent.
I think they changed the public access to the whiteboard page...its not a publicly published page anymore.

I got in my first choice!!! MCC four semester traditional. My timestamp was 2/20/09 :D Congratulations to everyone that was placed! This is such an exciting time! It was worth the wait knowing I got into the one program I really wanted to attend. Good luck to everyone else on the waiting list! It is worth the wait!
I am wondering if any of the schools have an evening program or if its just the part time programs? I work days so i need an evening program or weekend I know GCC has the weekend program and its super popular! Congrats to everyone that have been accepted for spring!
Thank you ajhill, but I think that's the link to the placement page. There used to be a page you could access (referred to as the "whiteboard" page) that was a more detailed description of the public seats that are available, and more info about the waiting list. I can't remember exactly how it looked, but it was kinda nice because it gave more info. It's not available to be viewed anymore, though.
