Hello, I am an experienced (2years) RN who's having difficulty finding a new job. I quit previous job a few month ago and I realized that it is hard to find hospital jobs.. Then now I am interested in applying for a nursing home or skilled nursing facility. But I cannot find good job search sites for nursing home at an internet. I tried to go to their home page, but most of them do not have home pages. Do you know the best way to find job at nursing home? Are there any special job search sites for nursing home or skilled facilities on the internet? I am in South CA.
Actually only one nurse recruiter from MGM healthcare called me and left me a message in my cell phone. But I think I am not experienced enough to do an agency work. I do not think they will give me enough orientation, and they might not have enough jobs to give me as full time.
I will appreciate your advice. Thank you.

Go to the yellow pages of the phone book and look under nursing homes, healthcare, or other headings that mention health, assisted living, or nursing. Make a list of the nursing homes and start visiting them in person with your employment paperwork in hand. Good luck.
oh, "Visiting them in person" Thank you I'll do that!
When you go in person, chances are high that you will be interviewed and possibly hired, on the spot.
