I finally landed an interview for a surgery position I've been networking for 2 year to get. I'm want this so bad I'm afraid he's going to smell the desperation on me. lol
I've been doing med/surg for 2 years but I've wanted to do OR since I first stepped foot into the OR in nursing school. No one with or experience has applied for the job and so they have decided to train a newbie. I'm not going to sleep till Tuesday in anticipation. Wish me luck
I've been "unofficially" offered the job!!! The manager I interview with told me I was being hired but the official word will come from HR once my references are contacted.
I'm so excited I can hardly contain my excitement!!!!!!!! I've been networking for 2 years to get and OR position. I'm finally going to get trained as a circulator!

Fantastic! You are a true go getter! Joining the AORN and networking was good on your part. Some ppl think they can just walk into a position on the OR and it isn't always that easy. Best of luck!!!

That's awesome. Just remember to take it one day at a time and you will do great.
