  1. Late to the thread is there anyway you could share your proficiency? It would be much appreciated 😊
  2. I loved microbiology and zoology!
  3. Yes, I have had a situation where my mgr did not like me. Although I could never really say specifically "why". She cannot find any fault with my performance but basically tried to punish me by giving me the worst of the worst. I just continued doing my job and doing it very well. Personally, I feel that managers like this are threatened by something they "see" in us. I am very sorry about your situation and wish you the best in your career. Do not let this incident control you. Hugs
  4. The hiring process is definitely long! If you can get past that hurdle you will more than likely love it. I work in a unit where the nurses know their stuff. I've never seen such a smart group and our vets love us. While is sounds mushy, I must say that taking care of veterans is very rewarding! ~krw~
  5. No, it is not. Do you have your handbook? You need to look in there and gather the pertinent information. Actually, the union should assist you with this. But take it upon yourself and then go see straight to the union.
  6. Spring flowers I believe there are some out there who you described perfectly but not every nurse is mean/nasty/abusive. I have found mean, nasty, abusive people in all walks of life! Good luck and best wishes.
  7. Woopsadaisy, Hugs to you. Tough times don't last but tough people do! Head up...you will make it;)
  8. We also lost our Neptune to the recall. We now use Dornoch suction machines. They are a bit different but do the job. Google them and check it out!
  9. I love this. And couldn't agree MORE with BlueLightRN!
