Finally here! FCCA/CPNE....

Published

Yes, I have finally arrived at that delicious spot between finishng my last EC exam, and registering for my FCCA & CPNE. Aaah, it feels LOVELY to be here!

A bit of clarity for anyone close behind....I sent a note to my EC advisor as soon as my last exam score showed up on in MyDetails asking when I will be FCCA ready. Within 4 hours I received a return note from my advisor stating he will begin the processing of my FCCA/CPNE eligibility. Later that day, I got my FCCA & CPNE notices of eligibility.

Unfortuantly, I was also notified that I would need to come up with $270 for the FCCA, and $2025 for the CPNE. And once I pay for the CPNE, I won't know my test date for at least two more months. OUCH!

Boy it HURTS to pay so much and then just sit and wait! :crying2:

Funny how I RACED to get here just to get here and realize...I'M BROKE:nuke:

Anyway, I guess I will just have to sit in this pleasant "purgatory" until I have more $$$...

Still happy though! :yeah:

Congratulations!!!! :-)

I am very happy for you! My advisor said that the NPAC right now have the shortest wait times, she said everywhere else is up to 5 months! I can't travel to NY but if you can maybe that would be a good option for you :-)

Good luck to you on finishing up the program!!!

CONGRATS on this accomplishment! I am so jealous :D I 2 more lifespans and transitions, and I hope to be there too! You know, it sure seems that people are getting their CPNE dates alot sooner than 5 months! It seems like people were getting dates within days of their application and it was usually for about 6 weeks out  but maybe they were all for NY. I will drive there from MN if I have to just to get done at this point. Good luck and enjoy your final stretch! Be sure to come back and give us all reviews and feedback of any workshops etc!

For the NPAC people have been getting dates that are when they want really quick, and calling for a

cancellation gets a close date. I have been watching the trends because my schedule is limited.

Any idea how long the wait has been for the Wisconsin sites?

Any idea how long the wait has been for the Wisconsin sites?

Is that in the MPAC? I think that I heard the MPAC is one of the longer wait times due to the high demand of students wanting Texas sites.

My advisor quoted me 3-4 months on the SPAC which includes Florida and Georgia.... but I'm sure with 500 something pages of study guide to work on, it won't feel like so long, LOL....

I feel stupid here, but I have no idea what these abbreviations stand for; SPAC,MPAC, NPAC....?! How are these testing centers broken down? I live in MN....and just wanted to be drivable to avoid airfare, but to me even NY is drivable ;) I really hope I don't have to wait the 3-4 months, my employers are getting very anxious for me to be done.

If you look in the EC SON book on page 32. It gives you the breakdown of CPNE locations. NPAC, SPAC, and MPAC are the Northeastern, Southeastern and Midwestern Performance Assessment Centers.

Thanks Beachnurse! I have never explored the site before re CPNE, so that was quite helpful! I didn't realize that there are that many testing locations in WI! So we can also accept cancellations to in order to get a faster date? Sign up for multiple locations?
