will be happy to hear your feedbacks and opinion.. good or bad..
many thanks:w00t:
SK nurse, I was thinking of you. The other day leaving for work before sunrise, I almost didn't see a walker in the road. One should always where some reflective clothing... sneakers, gloves, or jacket. After missing the jogger, I swear I saw a Moose, or at least a very large deer. I tried to get my cellphone out but he ran away.
Give us an update, you must feel like an old timer now, Alex
To everyone in leaving for Saskatchewan...goodluck! iv been reading this thread and im sooo happy for all of you who have made it...all your hard work really paid off. Im a newly registered nurse from the Philippines, who like you, dream of working in Canada. Hope you would continue to post your experiences once you are there so we can somehow get a grasp of what its like to work there. Or perhaps you could help us to get there also..your tips would be highly appreciated. GOODLUCK TO ALL YOU FILIPINO NURSES!!!
hi guys! can anyone tell me how long is srna's evaluation period from the time they've received the complete requirements to the time they issue the approval notice? my application with them has been 5 months now and t'has been 2 weeks since they've received the complete requirements. my departure schedule's in about 3 weeks from now and there's still no eligibility from srna. i'm afraid my flight might get re-scheduled if i wouldn't receive my eligibility in time for that. anyone? thankyou!
Do you have any idea how many applications they're toiling their way through in Saskatchewan? They've only had your documents for two weeks. They're probably in the middle of a pile of papers a foot high. It's not their fault they didn't get your paperwork sooner, but their assessment of them is probably going to take another week or more.
Apex states the are an agency for "Pinoy Excellence," any agency with that title I would assume they would do better than the average nurse. The pass rate for Canadian nurses is 95% and the Phillipine nurses is 80% I would not brag about that since they are below the standard. While 80% maybe excellent is the Phillipines, that is way below the average of 95%.
I feel bad for the 20% that didn't pass, I am assuming they will have to work as a nurse's aide with a nurse's aide salary.
