Filipino Nurse applying Nclex in Texas

Good day,

My name is Katrina, a filipino nurse and currently residing in Austin.

I recently got married to an American citizen and is waiting for my green card.

My question is - Will the BON texas allow me to start processing my nclex application now knowing that I will get Social Security Number soon?

i know that it could take up to 6mobs to one year for my application but can i apply now than later?

You can start processing your credentials evaluation now. Once you get ready to apply there are now ways to apply while awaiting your SSN (quicker if you have one though)

hope you are doing well. i have a quick question, I just received my green card last week and i will apply for my social security this week. i am a registered nurse in the Philippines and i am currently living in Austin texas. my question is- is the nclex processing still the same for me now that i have social security or is it going to be a different from those without social secu? 1.ces evaluation 2. texas bon application 3. pearson vue 4. exam

Hi guys good day!

My name is Kat,Filipino Nurse, living and working in Austin, Texas. I need some help with my NCLEX CGFNS CES application. I just paid the 350bucks CGFNS fee last week and my sister in Philippines is helping me fixing my papers with my college school and verification of my Philippine license.

Here are my questions:

1. I was once working in Saudi Arabia for two years (2009-2011). Do i need to verify my Saudi License in the NCLEX CGFNS CES report even though I am now living and working in Austin Texas? will the Texas board still require it in my nclex application?

2.If i need to verify my Saudi License, can someone pls point me to the right direction about how to verify it?

I dont see the need to even declare that on your CES. You're trying to prove that your education is comparable to the kind of education an RN would have received in the States so your school credentials and Philippine license would've been enough.

I would ask CGFNS directly though. Since you're in the states it should be easy to call. You can also email. They're goo at answering email queries. I usually get a response within several hours.
