Hello, I took my teas exam for the 7th time today. For my school the minimun score you can get to even be considered for the program is a 53.3% and on my 6th try i got a 55.3 and thats not good enough for me. today's score was a 50 and i thought i was really doing good, i was confident i was going to have a good grade. Please help with advice, i want at least a high 70. and i do have the book which i study from. me not getting the grade i want is making me unmotivated and i want to pass already

I'm sorry that you're having a tough time. Which areas are giving you the most trouble?

Have you checked the repeat policy for the program you're looking to enter?
What book are you studying from?
Does the school to which you're applying have a lottery system or a point system?
How's your GPA?
What do you feel like is holding you back from doing better?
How are you studying the book?

I took the teas for the second time yesterday, I hear ya & understand ....I sometimes begin doubting myself especially when my friends have passed & tell me they only studied for a few days ...O_O ...ughh it sucks but coming here & reading people s encouraging words & guidance truly motivates me again to continue trying! We can fail 100 times but as long as we get up again & Try that's what counts! Best of luck to you! Continue to study the book & seek out other resources!

What were your grades in math, English, sciences? Have you taken your pre-req sciences and math?
You have taken the test 7 times, you know what types of questions are on the test. Have you worked on the areas that you are having trouble with? The definition of "insanity" is repeating something over and over again and expecting a different result.

If you haven't tried the study manual by ati, check it out. It helped me a lot. Here's the link for barnes and noble.

Try taking a semester of gen ed classes (that are required for your program) like biology, college algebra, chemistry, anatomy, if you haven't already done so.. These will better prepare you, and be a good refresher if it's been awhile since you took high school math & sciences. The study guide book only covers some topics, taking actual classes is good refresher and then trying the test afterwards usually results in much higher scores. It will also help boost your gpa.

Is there a "help" class? I know you can take a class to help you prepare for the LSAT, MCAT, NCLEX...
Someone could make make a living at teaching a prep class for this TEAS 5 test.
