Maybe take a short break and try to relax and give your brain a rest and then start again. Doesn't have to be days but maybe an afternoon or a day

Do something nice for yourself and forget about if for a bit. I can't absorb anything at a certain point.

I agree with Silverdragon and Suesquatch, you sound like you need a well deserved break. I try to limit study time and make sure I take at least an hour to myself each day. ( like the family is really going to let me, HA! ) Ok, so the truth is I tell my family ( kids & hubbie ) I've got to go to the bathroom and 30 minutes later, ( bubble bath ) I come downstairs relaxed and get all kinds of questions from my family asking if I feel ok.:chuckle It's the only way I can escape. Find something that works for you. You cannot study/learn/or test well with too much stress.:wtosts:

Thanks guys but i am really sick as in bed ridden. I wish it was from over studying. I was just ignoring the signs and symptoms and BAM !! it hit me and now I feel as if I am behind the ball. I can't even enjoy the day so to catch up I changed my date from Tues to Fri/ \Sat which ever one pearson vue says I can take it on.

Alise, honey, just get well.

You've been in school for years now. you know this stuff. Trust yourself.

i'm going to take my exam on july 31 and i also feel that i'm not yet ready and planning to move it by august. i'm still finishing my ncsbn online review and i'm not yet in the half of it.

since i think you're more prepared than i am, don't worry and relax. don't push yourself in the last days or whenever the lessons are not coming in your brain anymore. it's useless anyway and it's a sign to say to relax for a while until you're ready again. you're brain might not yet giving up but your body is saying to rest up. let it be =)

First I want to say, good luck! I am feeling you on this post. This is what Ive been trying to express. I kind of toned it down on studying the past day or so because I was filled w/all kinds of anxiety. Now, Im back to the grind because I know I need to pass this exam for once and for all.

I dont think it was wrong of you to push your date up. It's nerve wracking...believe me I know. With all of your studying, Im sure youll pass with flying colors. Keep it all positive....keep it all positive and get enough rest...and...study if even for a few minutes.

I just recently found out I failed, it was my first time taking the exam. Hang in there, what I was advised to do is take a short break. That's the only way I could cope with this extreme stress. I feel sick when I think about it, and still do.

There is no choice, we must go on, we musn't let some stupid exam bring us down so much. Take a break, and get back to studying :)

Best of luck to you!

It won't do you any good if you fail because you weren't feeling well, it's better to reschedule it.

So pearson vue called me back while in the emergency ( go figure!) and the person on the phone was so nice she bumped up my exam to Aug 2nd which is fine by me for I ended up going to the ER.

Doing much better now and you know what the stress disapeared like no body's business. I know I can do it and I will.

Shiner sorry to hear that you didn't pass but you know what YOU will pass just take your time and all will fall into place.xoxoxox

good luck keep me posted!
