One concern I do have is that when I finish off the last three with LS1-3 and proceed to the FCCA. I guess it's the fear of the unknown. I have come to know what is expected of me in regards totally the Excelsior Exams and I study the SG101 guides religiously.
I have read some people blow through the FCCA super quick, but also read how some people fail the FCCA.

Was actually a little harder then I thought it was gonna be. Figured I could draw on my paramedic history for cardiac and respiratory but it gets a little more involved then that.
Anyways have LS2 scheduled for next Monday and planning on LS3 the following Monday. The FCCA starts again June 27th so, fingers crossed , will be in that FCCA.

Why can't anything go right for me today........ So i have stated that i have been out of work since i had a stress fracture in my foot. Anyways, got out of shower today, took a step and..................Crack, Felt and heard a crack in my right foot, the stress fracture foot. Call my wife on the cell phone, she comes home, i am almost in tears because of the pain. She takes me to the local ER. A PA comes in, doesn't do a full H&P just palpates my foot, which almost put me through the ceiling in pain. I tell her i feel nauseous from the pain. I rate it at an 8. She says ok, let me get you something for the nausea and pain. RN comes in with 4mg zofran PO and 5mg Vicodin. I take the zofran but tell the nurse that i cannot take the vicodin as I have been on Buprenorphine since I had my Anterior Lumbar Fusion done. He says ok let me go see what the PA wants to do. Nobody comes back in until the tech takes me to get an XRAY.
I come back to the room and am waiting. .......waiting.......waiting........ I am getting paler from the pain my wife says. Finally i ask her to get the PA, who is sitting at the desk outside my room. I ask her if my foot broke, she says yes, the at the 5th metatarsal. I then ask if i can have something for the pain. She says "i was told you refused the vicodin", I then go into about buprenorphine and how the vicodin won't work. I tell her I am versed in buprenorphine and advise her I would need 100-150 mcg of fentanyl to displace the buprenoorphine and then .5mg-1.0mg of dilaudid for pain relief.
She says " I never give dilaudid for a fracture!" . My eyes almost popped out of my head. I got so mad I told my wife to get me out of here. The PA says well i have to put a splint on your foot. I say to her, which i admit i was 1/2 in pain and the other half in a rage, "if you touch me I will file charges for battery". She stopped in her tracks. My wife at this point got a wheelchair and i hobbled in it. The PA says you can't go until you sign the AMA paper. I begged to differ and had my wife push me to the car and she drove me home.
So now I sit here, typing with my computer on my lap, bottle of advil next to me, and my foot up with ice on it. I cannot put any pressure on my foot and have to wait for my son to bring home crutches from my mothers house.
I just get so frustrated when someone will not listen, apparently discounting my pain, and would not do an appropriate history and physical.
