how is your studying going? what are you using?

i am following suzanne's plan and have been diligent thus far. :D btw, i work full-time as a new grad and am attending a rn-bsn program. i have no life but it will be worth it to pass the nclex!

Congrats luvleee, what time did you take your exam and what time did u check for ur results. i checked mine and it said that it is not avail

i took my exam at 8A on 02/17th. i found out today at 1030 A, 02/19.

and thank you!!

Well, I will just do those. If I can pass the nclexrn practice tests then I should be able to do the PN nclex. :typing

i dont know how similar the questions are from rn to lpn. so, im not going to encourage you to do rn questions cause the scope of practice for pn is different from that of rn. goodluck though!

I took mine on feb 17 @ 1pm and found out today at 1pm that i passed:yeah:. I almost had a stroke trying to put in my credit card information to see if i passed or failed lol! I passed with only 75questions. I did only Kaplan and i felt it helped me a lot. i actually thought the questions on Nclex were not as bad as Kaplan questions.

Thank you God that this test is behind me!

Not necessary, we have had members on here fail LPN after also failing RN. The exams are different as the roles are different

i passed with 75 questions!! thank you god, i no longer have to study for that exam ever again!!!!

i describe my study techniques in the following thread: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/i-am-now-371904.html. i would have posted earlier but i was out of town (i had to travel to take my exam) and had no internet access. in fact, i had to wait until i came home a day later to check the internet to see if my results posted and if my license was issued! i absolutely feel for those of you who are seeking a license through ca or any other state that makes you wait 10-14 days for results! i did not get much sleep after taking my exam and i could not relax until i found out i had passed! i cannot imagine living that way for weeks, it was torture!

however, another fear has washed over me... i am now a new graduate rn. don't get me wrong, it is exciting. however, now i can no longer say, "let me get your nurse..." when a patient has a need i do not know immediatley how to care for .... i am the nurse! so, i need a new line... :lol2:

Congratulations

I'm taking NCLEX on March 2...I have been studying since August! Our school gave us 4 e exit exams we have to pass with 95%...It's crazy but we all made it. We finished all the requirement by November and December I started working on Suzzane's plan. I added Kaplan Q bank to it and my score is only around 55-60%. I am devoting 6-8 hours of studying mainly doing practice questions...I am now working on my meds! Took a 3 weeks vacation from work to focus on my review. I still don't feel confident! I just prayed to St. Therese of little flower. Hope will all pass...I wanna claim it! NCLEX is mine! since I worked hard for it...I'm trying to keep a positive attitude :)

you are on the right path. keep doing those questions and reviewing their rationales, make sure u do Question trainer 6 & 7 few days before you go take the test. I got 75questions and i felt that QT 6 & 7 made Nclex seem a bit easier. Good luck! and keep praying. i personally prayed a lot to st. Jude and St. Anthony, they have never failed me. Take care!

hii guys. i took my nclex-rn on feb.18. this is my second take. stopped at 75 (again). so i really don't know what to think. i think, we all tend to walk out of pearsonvue, thinking we all failed... i was pretty much in a state of shock after.. i guess i still am. i'm just trying to stay patient as I wait for my result. *fingers crossed* i'm trying to recall if my questions were more analysis type.. or just knowledge based. it's hard... when i try to remember the questions i got on my test.. i end up in panic mode. haha. one thing that's good about the nclex though. you can take it over and over and over again until you pass. i think that's my mentality of it now.. i guess i'm just preparing myself for whatever result i get. everything happens for a reason.. and I believe, God gives what's best for us... on his time!

goodluck to those who are studying for it.. who are taking it soon.. and for those who are waiting for results!

*sending positive vibes your way...
