Okay so I love watching fear factor and was taking to a fellow nurse friend of mine and we wanted to know how many of you could get through these "nursing stunts":
1) 100 patients, 10 meds apiece, 1hour to complete... no errors
2) Eating the hospital food, with NO condiments (gasp!)
3) Licking the hospital floor... (yummy right) and yes you can disinfect your mouth after.
4) Working a 24hour shift in the ICU and ER... NO SLEEP
5) Transfering a 250 pound patient from bed to chair 10 times, no help
Me personally, I guess I'd try it but I would not be the fear factor champ!
wow, this is perverse! i would not qualify for the prize, no matter what the amount!! how about performing deep breathing exercises through the nose for half an hour in a GI bleed room?
Of course they are not clean. everyone could use the protein. Wheres the fun with them being clean. You may use some listerine after its all over.
I literally got the shivers from thinking about that... meat particles... all soft and chewy bread... okay yeah... fear is definitely a factor for me Joe Rogan! lol
How about this.... inducing vomiting for 10 patients (lets say they are all sick from thinking about dirty dentures) and emptying their emesis basins into a blender... mix it up... what a WONDERFUL shake.
for sure.......I HATE dentures........AAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH
