I'll be finishing up my pre-requisites this fall, and then applying in the spring for the Summer 2010 session. I still need to study for the NAT and actually take the exam and take a CPR course. I'm considering getting my CNA and trying to find work in healthcare to get my foot in the door.
I am so nervous about the whole process, nervous about whether I should try to work and go to school, and especially nervous if this is something I can handle. I am afraid of all the responsibility.
Anyone else planning for next Summer? What is your process looking like, what are your thoughts/feelings?

I got the call around 3:30pm today and the message said for me to arrive promptly at 10am tomorrow... didn't give me any time frame beyond that... And I didn't receive a call back when I called asking for more info... I had to set up childcare and reschedule a doctors appt for my kids for later in the day and am hoping we're done by 2pm.
Anyways SAdLPN I guess that means we'll be meeting tomorrow morning. I'm excited and nervous at the same time (not about meeting you obviously... about the meeting itself...)
I only applied for days just like you...so obviously they have overlooked something. I have already emailed someone and will be stopping by tomorrow if I can't get them on the phone. I am not trying to be a jerk, but it seems like a bogus system to rank people by their points and then skip around to offer seats....either way good luck in the program....hopefully i will get some good news tomorrow....

Justn1222 got in! He was at orientation today... They said they called him Tuesday but he didn't get the message. So 6 of us in all got called and attended orientation today... Yeah for #'s 97-102!
I am not in ya'lls group, but I am working hard to get my pre-reqs done so i can apply next year. Congrats to all of you who are getting in now. I was just wondering if anybody knows what classes are usually offered in the 4wk terms. I need to fill a 4 week slot this summer (d4) and don't know where to start to find a class. I have been trying so hard to get all this settled before Spring break, but it didn't happen, so now i'm on my own! so if anybody knows what is usually available for those small terms, i'd love to hear from you. Then i can go online and search it. I tried searching by dates, but it wouldn't let me search that way.
