Well, it's never too soon to start thinking about this. Anyone else thinking of applying for Summer 2009?
I will be applying without micro and sociology. Hence my screen name summer09HOPEFUL:wink2: we'll see...I've made A's and B's in all of my other prereqs. I still have to take the NAT (im doing that in the next couple weeks). If I don't get in I guess I'll have to change my screen name to Fall09hopeful.
These documents should be attached with your application:
a copy of your FccJ transcript (print from artemis)
a copy of your CPR for healthcare prof. card
a copy of your NAT scores (must not be more than 2 years old)
and work experience (if you had health related exp like EMT or paramedic etc)
if you took chemistry in high school you have to attach and unopened transcript.
I think that's it.... I'm reading this directly from the application.
I really wish the documents were a little more straight forward as to exactly what items need to be handed in when you turn in your application. I might be missing something but I just dont feel like I have a good grasp on excatly what is submitted. Anybody else feel this way?
Does anyone know if you can be enrolled in Chemistry and Microbiology in the Spring and apply for the summer. I know that you can be currently enrolled in Micro but it is not clear about the Chem. I know Chem is a prereq for Micro but I can take both at the same time at SJRCC and then apply to FCCJ. I keep getting mixed answers on if you can apply without the Chem. I had one counselor say yes and then I just went to another and she said no it had to be completed. Any idea???
CHM needs to be complete before you apply. This is copied directly off the FCCJ website for the nursing program:
Prerequisites
The following five courses must be completed before submitting an application to this program.

Hi. I'm a first time poster. I am hoping to get into the Summer nights/weekends program. I have seen the day schedule on other forums, and if I had to, I think I could work something out with my job and child. The day schedule that I have seen other people post shows them doing 2 long days and 2 really short days. Does anyone know if this increases from semester to semster? I don't know if I could do it if it was, say 4 long days. I just hope I get into the nights/weekends then I won't have to worry about all this.
