U.S.A. Florida

Published

I know it is a little early, but anyone plan on applying for FCCJ's spring 2010 program?? If I can get my Nat points up and if I do well in Micro this summer , I will be ready to apply!!!:yeah:Finally!!

So, for the Med Term Test is it going to be multiple choice? I know that for the dosage is fill in the blank, but I wasn't sure for the Med term.

Yes you can use a basic calculator (included in the skills kit) and med term is 75 questions mutiple choice! ;)

Hi, Im just wondering if anyone would know the answer to my question. I got all the books from this term from a friend who graduated from the program. But, some of them are the last edition. Does anyone know if the instructors will allow me to use these or do i need to purchase the newest editions?

Anyone else on here at Beaches for first term? We have a CRAZY first day!!!!!

Yea, I'm in section 4 with Baptist Beaches. Its gonna be one long day to start off the semester. But, I'm looking forward to it and getting started with school.

I was wondering if anyone knew which specific books to take to each class. Maybe we won't be using our books the first week?I"m in section 5, is anyone else in section 5 or 6?

I know they said we dont have to wear our polo and khaki's to class but I am wondering if anyone was planning on wearing them? Also, I recieved by evolve account email today. I am in Sec. 12 anyone else got theirs?

Have you guys seen the email with the testing information? Wowzers! We have a test almost every Monday!!!

Future,

The med term test is a 50 question multiple choice test not 75, thank the good Lord!! I took out the flash cards today for Chapters 2 and 3 and there are only 68 total to learn. A lot of those terms are from A and P so it is really less than that if you remember your A and P. I was also wondering about the class times for Techniques but have seen the answer on the previous postings. 8AM for me on Wednesdays until clinical starts.

Can someone look at the Independent Study Guide for the Dosage calc and explain something to me? Maybe I am being dense but I am a little confused. In Topic 1 number 12, the answer they give is 33.6 and I can accept that since it is greater than 1. In number 14, I did the one place thing but they give the answer to be 3.13. Since it is greater than 1 wouldn't you think it would just be 3.1? I thought so. Am I missing something? Any shedding of the light on this would be grateful.

Thanks,

CW

Jan, Im in section 12! im really excited to start classes!

so just because im SUPER nervous and want to make sure im covering all my bases, the dosage calc test covers adding, subtracting, multiplying, &dividing fractions/decimals, and converting right? what else? and medical terminology is just memorizing the word parts & putting them together?

and can someone PM me CP's email? i cant seem to find it anywhere!

Anyone want to get together Sunday? We can quiz one another, lol. I have to work in the AM but free from 4-7. I am thinking of heading to Barnes and Nobles at the Town center, but I am flexible.
