I got my BP cuff from Allheart.com along with my steth. I believe it was around $12-15. I'm sure you can find others too, just google it! I also want to know where to find the pocket protector. I was going to check out office depot this week.

jeez, i guess i got ripped off! i got my BP cuff at the bookstore at north campus, it was $24 bucks... but i didnt have to pay shipping, so maybe thats why? oh well, theres no refunds so im not gonna worry about it.

btw- they also sell the pocket protectors at the bookstore, not sure how much they were bc i didnt get one. I wouldnt reccomend going to office depot though, bc i think it has to be a "medical" one or whatever, one that can hold the bandage scissors and things like that. not sure though... i think the ones in the bookstore came equiped with everything you needed in it (including the ruler)

also, the one who said they bought their organizer on medianet (i didnt look at the sn, sorry) is it called an "organizer kit" on there?

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a great t day!!! After the background check , do you get something a few days later, or do you just hand in the confirmation paper? I have not heard anything from them.

The background check that we did online you just turn it the confirmation page. If you want to view your results log back into the site and you will be able to see it. They won't email you saying its complete. Fingerprinting results go to the school a couple hours after you do them

Just an FYI.

I called the bookstore today and got the same answer about our box of books that I got for the med term book. The books will be in sometime in December but they don't know when or what books. Also, talking to my friend that is in the Fall term, the med term book is in the box of books. The total cost of the box of books was around $650 and has almost everything textbook wise that we need. There are a few other books not in it like the medical dictionary and 1 or 2 others. So keep this in mind when thinking of cost of books. Tuition is around $1200 for the 4 classes.

Can anyone tell me what the cost of the polo shirt is? Also, has anyone gone to get their skills kit? I want to be sure when I go over to that side of the water that I can get my polo and then head up to get a skills kit without wasting time or gas. Is there plenty of them is what I am asking I guess?

im alittle confused about the physical exam form. It has a space for immunizations, but i thought if our titers came back positive, we dont need those?

We don't need those that's just where they would fill it out if you needed to get a booster shot...

So I turned in all of my paperwork today! But not before I got into a CAR ACCIDENT:banghead:

A lady rear-ended me because she didn't realize a school bus had stopped! So her Chevy Tahoe smashed into my Nissan Sentra with my 2 year old daughter in the back! So I went from running around for nursing school things, to running around for my car. The damages right now are around $5000 they won't be sure until the take it apart, I shall see tomorrow what's going to happen but at least I was not at fault and her insurance company is responsible for paying.....

I picked up my skills kit today, at 11am she had 3 left. They are still missing one item (sorry I don't remember what it was) but she'll bring it to Ms.Porter for us. I would call her before you go out there.

Oh no Future, im so sorry!! are you and your daughter ok?? car accidents are such a pain in the butt, especially with all the nursing stuff you have to cover too! I hope you guys are okay! Its good that you got all your paperwork turned in now then, huh? i thought we were supposed to turn it in at oreintation, though?
