I know it is a little early, but anyone plan on applying for FCCJ's spring 2010 program?? If I can get my Nat points up and if I do well in Micro this summer , I will be ready to apply!!!:yeah:Finally!!

I went on the community tab and selected the nursing tutor.... but when i tried to click on "announcements" and "communication" it says access denied... did this happen to anyone else?

I got my BP cuff yesterday.. never been so excited about a piece of medical equipment... just wait until i get my stethoscope!! lol

You have to self enroll first, did you do that?

I've alway started to stalk the mailbox again for my supplies... Don't mean to sound like a dork but i cant WAIT to try on my uniforms, lol!

My uniforms came in today and it felt so surreal trying them on! I love the name tags too! So excited for Dec. 14th

just set an appt with your primary care and they will take care of everything. It may come back in earlier but that was worse case senario. I am working with Dr. Ventura - internal medicine NAS Jax - she is very very sweet and easy to get into - give her a try:)

Congratulations! 2.5 weeks? Are you serious that's a loonnnnnggggg time! Did you notify the nursing department about that?

It is kind of a long story and there is a little more involved, but yes the nursing dept knows and it is all good! I have everything completed but titers and seasonal flu vaccine - I have proof they were drawn so it is going to be great:) I am so excited for orientation. RNMom -how many children do you have? I have 2 girls (5 and 4). They have NEVER been in childcare before so this is going to be an adjustment for us but we will manage:)

Where did you get the BP cuff? I have a steth but I do need the BP cuff. How much was it? Does anyone know where we can get this ridiculous pocket protector? :)

I got my BP cuff from Allheart.com along with my steth. I believe it was around $12-15. I'm sure you can find others too, just google it! ;) I also want to know where to find the pocket protector. I was going to check out office depot this week.

I got bp cuff at medisave.net it was $10 i also got a pocket protector there and it included the scissors etc for $6

That would be a big help to get the pocket protector with the scissors at the same time as the BP cuff. Less running around like a chicken with my head cut off! LOL I have been waiting to buy my uniform shirts, etc. because payday for my husband was today. :) All I am going to get is the shirts, polo shirts, lab coat, and name tags. Pants I can get at anytime and will be able to try them on, etc.
