Hey all!
I was just trying to get in touch with anyone hoping to start the RN program at FCCJ in the Spring 2009 semester. Hopefully we can see what the points seem to be at or where they were for the Fall 2008 semester.
Look forward to talking!:nuke:

From what I understand, we will do that at one of the orientation sessions on Dec. 3 or Jan. 5. I'm not clear on the whole lottery thing... does everyone just draw a number or does it go by score??? I've heard both... the score thing doesn't sound right to me, but I just wanted to make sure...
Also, has anyone else ordered their uniforms yet? I placed my order yesterday, but when I typed my measurements in the calculator on the website (for sizes), it came back with a Med top, Med pants (both of which are correct) and a 2XL LAB COAT!!! That is NOT correct... I have no idea how lab coats fit, so I just went ahead and ordered a Med... I'm hoping it fits, otherwise I'll have to order a new one and return the old one... pain!
:yeah:Congrats to those of you who were accepted for Spring '09! I'm applying for Summer '09 night/weekend. Out of curiosity, what do you guys think my chances are with a score of 199.18? I have one more opportunity to take the NAT again but really want to avoid it if I can. Any helpful advice? Thanks!!
I think you'll be ok with 199.18. I don't think you'll need to re-take the NAT with that score. Looks like I'll be joining you for summer 09 because my points were 180.74 for spring 09, but that's without 3 classes and I'm taking 2 right. Are you applying for nights/weekends?

Yeah I'm going to apply for nights & weekends. I work full time days. I know the applicant pool is much less during the summer and im sure the evening/weekend weekend program is going to be that many less people. I saw somebody say that there were 700 applicants for one semester! Stiff competition... What are you applying for tsnt?
Jacks- I went and saw the advisor prior to applying, and the only thing it really helped was just being able to ask any questions you want to. Basically, she only gives you the answers you could get from the packet, but I do recommend it, that way you won't think that you're missing something. :)

I got my acceptance packet yesterday too! It was dated the 22nd so those of you who live outside Jacksonville probably will be won't recieve them for another couple of days, at least. It's awesome when you do though!
