I know it is kind of early to start this thread but I thought maybe there were some others out there who are planning on applying for fccj/fscj fall 2010 RN program. Hope you will post on this thread!

Congrats to everyone accepted! This is not sounding good for me! I had 200 points, so I may have been right on the border since someone with 202 got accepted. The points cut off must have gone up again. And I didnt get anything as of today, Sunday. Oh well, gotta finish Micro and try next time! Good luck! Maybe I'll get a seat if someone declines.

Mind you I realize that every term is different, but I doubt the cut off is over 200 pts. Fall has the most seats if my memory serves me correct. SO that would be a major jump between summer and fall. ALTHOUGH if you selected Nights and did not select days as well, you do have a lower chance of getting accepted since the nights cut off is higher. Also those living outside of Duval supposedly have a lower chance of getting in (not that either are your issue). The other issue is points being miscalculated. I am told that when applications are accepted they are put on a spreadsheet and your pts are listed, so you could hypothetically call and ask what they have as your point total. I have also heard of people calling to verify their application was received.

Thanks for the message. My mail comes around 1, so if I don't have a letter tomorrow, I will take your advice and go see what they have as my points. I am Duval and I selected days first, n/w second.

I drove to the campus to hand deliver mine b/c I was scared that it would get lost in the mail.. and I still haven't heard anything...it kind of would be nice to have a semester off..but not for the sake of student loans haha... aren't they supposed to send even a courtesy decline letter lol..

I just don't see how the cutoff could jump 5 points since spring. It just doesn't seem possible
