FCCJ/FSCJ Fall 2010 Hopefuls

Published

I know it is kind of early to start this thread but I thought maybe there were some others out there who are planning on applying for fccj/fscj fall 2010 RN program. Hope you will post on this thread!

Ummmmmm..........ME!!!! I am really getting depressed about it. It is the not knowing that is killing me!

How many points did you have?

hey everyone,

i know you are all severely stressed out. but don't worry! i called Ms. J yesterday and she said they aren't all sent out at the same time.

and i'm sure several people will decline seats, so that will open up even more spots.

keep your heads up!! it will all work out!! :)

Yeah it kind of seems like they sent out the nights and weekends first and then have been going down the list. Most of the people I have seen that already have their packets had 200+ points.

Like you said, people will decline their seats and some may not pass the bacground check or turn all their requirements in.

Keep your heads up!

I have 202 points, and live on the westside. I checked either days/nights. Just getting very anxious!!!!

Yeah, I haven't heard anything either. Congrats to those who got in, though!!!! Hopefully some of us aren't far behind you guys. Thanks for letting us know, though, they haven't all been sent out. I wonder how many declines there will be????? Hopefully enough to put me in there!!!

I don't want to jinx anything but I think you will be fine 202 is a really good score. Keep us posted!:D

Don't worry!! Here is a song to cheer you up:

LOL

I'm so happy for you guys who got accepted. Good luck and you will all do well.

I hope it's me next year. For those nights and weekends who got accepted, what was your score again? How many seats are available for n/w? I'm still tackling AP1, AP2 in the fall, and Micro in spring. Question, do they consider the GPA in the point system? Just curious. Since Chem is a pre-req to Micro and if someone makes a C, will that affect the GPA? I have so many things to consider.

Thanks for the answers.

Chem doesn't count pint wise, u just have to pass, but the better you do in Chem the more it will help you in Micro I think.

FYI: skills kits will not be ready for another week and 1/2, just drove out there and they were out so call ahead. So excited I have everything done except my PPD I'm doing that Monday, getting my skills kit & my books. Also, went back to fin aid to give a copy of my acceptance letter to put with my appeal & lady said they haven't even began processing loan appeals yet, because it is all sent downtown and then downtown will process it, the appeal is new since Gov't took over student loans, she said it will be harder for loans to be approved now- but I'm not gonna get political, lol.
