Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.
I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.
I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!
I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!
You know whats even funnier?? Most of our birthdays are in July as well. On JUly 29th, I will be 20 yo. Maybe when we get together we could celebrate all of our b-days too.
ok tommorrow's the 19th...I believe the mail lady thinks im a stalker and my dog has gone for way too many walks to the mailbox. lol. I'm so jelous my sister got her acceptance letter to the nursing school she applied to in GA TODAY!! and idk if I can wait any longer....lol o well off to work for more waiting
WOW....That's like 4 July birthdays!!! I already had my birthday this year. My boyfriend's birthday is July 20th, does that count LOL. I'll just celebrate his birthday with ya'll:chuckle.

I am getting gray hair! It's not because I seem to be the oldest of the bunch on this board... it is because I am sooooo anxious!
Today is the 19th, and as someone posted before, who applied for FCCJ's summer term that is currently in session, their deadline was the 1st (as our's was) and they got their letter on the 19th. So, I was just hoping for today to be the day.
I know for all of those before us, this anxiousness is all too familiar and they probably remember that pathetic feeling of walking back inside after going to the mailbox, yet once again.
Seriously, who ever gets theirs first, please get online and post immediately. That way, the rest of us will know that we will get ours very soon too!

I just checked my acceptance letter to make sure.... Our deadline was the first but the letter was dated Feb 20th. If I remember correctly I got it the 21st. You guys may have another day or two. To wait.... sorry.
i'm upset that my neighbor that to just bring my mail to me. the dummy-head mail carrier put it in her box. she doesn't even live on my street! she lives in the house facing my street! how in the world could he mistake the STREET!!! i can see him possibly mixing up the numbers. but now is not the time for this foolishness. i need my mail in the correct place...at least until i get my letter
I know I'm ready for the letter to arrive!!! I keep telling myself it won't get here till July and my family is looking at me like I'm crazy for checking the mailbox every day. I even check it at 11:30 at night, just to make sure they got it. I'm crazy..lol.
On another note, please be in prayer for those that were shot outside of Baptist hospital downtown tonight. You might have heard about it on the news. It took place in one of our garages outside the emergency room. I can't disclose too much information. But as we hear a little bit more I will keep everyone posted. I'm sure their will be an update about it on the 11PM news. We live in one heck of a crazy world.
