Anybody heard anything about the FCCA as of yet?

I really don't know why you can't since it was designed to help guide your studies before the CPNE! Have you asked an advisor why you can't take it? I spelled it out loud and clear that since I finished this D#@% program in 8 months they better not make me wait for the FCCA. I don't know how many people have gotten to test that way but I don't think it could hurt to ask.

As soon as I found out that you had the FCCA mailed to you, I called and asked if I could take it since I was waiting on a CPNE date. She told me "No". I said I though the whole purpose of the test was to help us with the CPNE. She told me at this time EC was only giving it to the few that had passed the CPNE under the new curriculum. IMO Its just a bunch of busy work and more money in their pocket. I am going to call them again because my annual enrollement is Dec 12 and my CPNE is Dec5-7. That will give me 5 days to get that test done and "I AIN"T" paying $500 annual fee for something thats their fault. These test should have been completed before they implemented the New Curriculum. Just my 2 cents.

You won't be done w/ EC til your "graduation date" so it's possible you might have to pay your annual fee. I finished all requirements in early September but my grad date wasn't til Oct 17. You might want to call and ask as I've heard that it's been waived for some who have completed all requirements. Whatever they tell you I'd get it in writing. And it sure is crummy that they aren't lettting people take the FCCA before their CPNE....I'd keep bugging them about it :twocents:

Utica NY. I applied June 4 for the MPAC and was discouraged by the long wait so I transfer to NPAC at the beginning of Aug and got 2 dates that day. I declined the Sept date and accepted the Dec date so in all 6 months.

I also took and passed the pen and paper FCCA in September and feel that it may be easier than the computer timed exam. I had ten days to complete it. Maybe thats why they are reluctant to give it to people before CPNE.

But the curriculum says to take FCCA before CPNE, so, I would keep bugging them if I were you.

The fact that the computer exam is still not ready one year after they created the new curriculum is not very impressive in my opinion.
