What is your favorite OR specialty and why/why not? :)

Cardiothoracic. Because hearts and lungs.
Seriously though, my team is small and we genuinely take care and support each other. We're a tight knit group and work with an incredible group of surgeons.

Took the words out of my mouth. Cardiac is definitely where I found my home in the OR.

Does anyone have experience with ortho? I am particularly interested in this OR specialty.
I do, and I'm personally not a fan. But there are plenty who love it. It's the holding up of an extremity that's broken as you prep it.... I'm always worried I'm going to hurt them some how.
90% of or nurses have ortho experience. Its a basic specialty. Scrubbing it is more fun than circulating.

Neuro and cardiac but I find it more enjoyable based on the doctors and staff I work with more.
