So I do not think there has been a forum made yet for the FAU FNP program starting in August 2019. Other programs starting then welcome as well. The applications are officially open so I was hoping for some discourse on the application/interviews/etc.

I'm still in the middle of my application. Anyone having "fun" with nursingcas and started as well?

9 Spots for the DNP at the Boca Campus. They have to fill those before doing the MSN programs.

What school is this? How long is the program and how much does it cost altogether? Do they need RN experience or is a BSN good enough?

Hi everyone! Congratulations to those that received emails for an interview. I went to FAU for my BSN and was told not to worry about transcripts at all so I had no idea about needing to send them to NursingCAS so that has been a nightmare the last few weeks lol. My application switched to verified today so I’m praying that it’s not too late. If anyone is in the same boat, I did call FAU and they said not to worry since they’re still sorting through applications as we speak, but naturally I’m still nervous lol. Good luck to everyone!

I guess I am not alone with all the nerves....Am I the only one checking the status and/or email 10 million times a day! Like they really know how to create suspense.

I went through and read last year's posts and it seems like we won't be hearing much until this coming week into the first week of March.

I was driving on the turnpike today and passed by the exit for the Boca Campus and I swear my heart skipped a beat. It's all I can think about!

Anyone hear what interviews are like? Dnp interviews should be mostly over by now. I assume it will be similar to ours. I have a colleague that did the interview but she kept avoiding answering exactly what questions were asked ?

She DID, however, say that it was more like 5 minutes instead of 15 and the interviewer wasnt exactly the nicest. She said they didnt ask the typical questions she had prepared for like "why FAU?". She said the interviewer was rude when she asked a question to be repeated too. Hope we have a different person since that was for DNP.

Hi everyone, those of you that received interviews already was it just for Boca campus? Has anyone heard from the harbor branch site ?

My friend had her DNP interview a bit over a week ago.

It sounds like for FNP, they have only just begun to send the interviews out if the earlier post is true and there will be interviews into March. Kinda bummed they didnt let me choose a later date though...I appreciate any interview but I'm a night nurse and work the night before. So I'll get off a 13 hour shift, kill a few hours, get ready, THEN drive to boca. I'll be half asleep during the interview.

Florida Atlantic University. Just go ahead and go on website and you’ll find all the info your asking for. Deadline for Upcoming Fall has passed though
