Hi! I wanted to create a space for any applicants to FAUs FNP or AGNP program beginning in August 2018 to post updates :)
Hello Everybody,
I interviewed at Boca last week and it seems like my interview experience was very different from everyone else's.
No one greeted me when I first arrived other than a woman who came in a few minutes after my appointment time, looked down at the sign-in sheet, and said that she needed to get some lunch.
Once I got called back, the interviewers were not friendly at all. No one smiled even when I first came in or gave me any sign of expression other than a flat face the entire time -- no smirk, no nod...just flat. I was asked my questions and the whole thing was probably 5-10 minutes at the most. I can understand appearing neutral, but it was like talking to a wall and made me very uncomfortable. Since I was not allowed to ask questions, at the end, I got handed the generic brochure I'm sure everyone else got which didn't really answer many questions other than general ones about the college. Left and I think one of the interviews may have smiled and the other's face stayed the same. Felt like I got hustled in and out, rushed, and unwelcome.
Wasn't sure about posting this, but I wanted to reach out and see if I'm crazy/alone because compared to what others have said about their interview, I feel like I'm the only person this happened to.

Notified of Interview March 8
Interview March 14 ( For Davie Campus)
Interview : Everyone was nice , someone gave me a little prep and told me not to be nervous, general questions asked . My interview was short and sweet. Received brochures that gave some information. Decisions should be made by first 2 weeks of April .
Good luck to you all !
I applied for the Boca campus MSN leadership/administration track in December. My transcripts and letter of recommendation were sent in February. My interview was 3/19. I was accepted on the spot. They seem to be really concerned about writing skills, and I was a reporter/editor for many years before studying nursing. Good luck, everyone.
