I am currently working on my application. I created this thread to reach out to other applicants and potential future classmates. We could provide support and feedback to one another while we apply/wait for acceptance letters.
I have 4.0 GPA in the science courses. Other pre-reqs -- A's except for 2 B's and 1 B+
I took the TEAS twice. I ran out of time the first time and did not get the grade I expected. I was devastated. The second time I took it, I did well and scored in the 99th percentile.
What is your current situation? I confess I am pretty nervous.
Do you know if we have to include references in NursingCas??
My eligible for placement still shows as incomplete.
Also, does anyone know or understand how much is actually due on Dec 14th? I looked at the breakdown they provided from the website and I noticed some of the items we have already paid, like the background check, CPR class, etc. It looks like almost $5,000 is due. Does that seem correct?
Hey guys I was wonder if anyone could help me out - I am on the waitlist and only received an email notifying me of the waitlist and that I had to complete the steps for the background check. They never told me anything else and I only found out about the deadline from reading your posts. Is there any other deadline or information that you think I should know about?
@NVighetto go there in person if possible! Also email the specific person cited in our official emails from FAU (She replies emails within a day).
I am also waiting on the fingerprint part. I talked to the person responsible for it last Friday and she said she has all the documents and only needs to enter the data.....
Did anyone have to complete the D&A (disclosure and authorization) form? If so, how long did it take for that to go through for you? I just came back from vacation. I sent it as soon as I got home. I could have sent it on vacation but they were charging me at the hotel. I just wanted to get a time expectation. Thanks everyone!
Tomorrow is the deadline, everyone! I hope every one got every thing done in time. The only thing I am pending is the fingerprint portion "Eligible for Placement" like @Nurse_ForLife. I e-mailed Miss Streaty about it so hopefully I'll be able to contact someone soon. :)
@NVIghetto I had them rush every thing else. I believe the fingerprint portion for "Eligible for Placement" is done by the University, unless I misunderstood. I spoke with someone from CP and that's what they told me.

@me10 you need a TB test annually. so, yes, you need to do the 2 step TB test again.
