Applications are open for the accelerated track! The deadline is in less than a month.
I am currently working on my application. I created this thread to reach out to other applicants and potential future classmates. We could provide support and feedback to one another while we apply/wait for acceptance letters.
I have 4.0 GPA in the science courses. Other pre-reqs -- A's except for 2 B's and 1 B+
I took the TEAS twice. I ran out of time the first time and did not get the grade I expected. I was devastated. The second time I took it, I did well and scored in the 99th percentile.
What is your current situation? I confess I am pretty nervous.
Do you know if we have to include references in NursingCas??
Best of luck to all applicants!
I'm currently trying to calculate tuition using the price for undergraduate in state which $306 per credit. The program is 40 credits which should total $12,240 + additional fees , correct ?
The way I calculated cost was $202 per credit (in-state) based on their website. Where did you get $306? I could be looking at the wrong place. But based on the tentative curriculum, it looks like it adds up to 60 credits. Making the total $12,120 plus the estimated $5,449 cost for supplies, etc. equals $17,569. You could actually minus the background check and the BLS Course already.

So in the Orientation email, it said that the second mandatory orientation is January 12th, so just to clarify, does that mean that the first day of school is Jan 11th and we have the second orientation on the second day of school? This could be right...but it seems to me that their schedule may be getting pushed back a bit. I'm sure we will find on on Dec. 14th as far as a solid date for out first day :) :)
Hello,
I am attending FAU in Spring 2016 for their RN-BSN program. I have not been able to find anyone to help me with this question, I will ask you guys on here since you are going to be in the Traditional BSN program. Have you all received your fingerprint results from Certified Profile, and how long did it take? Thank you and good luck with SON.
Hi! I know I'm jumping on an old thread but I'm hoping someone will see it. Can the students who were accepted give me any advice on how to increase my chances of being accepted. Since I can't apply until all my prereqs are completed I am aiming to apply for Spring 2019. I'm taking my prereqs at PBSC and so far getting all As. But my previous bachelor degree work wasn't extremely impressive. Degree in Business with about 3.0 gpa. I just wasn't that motivated back then, but I'm very different now. If I can make it to the interview round I think I can do well. Any and all advice appreciated!!
I know this is an old thread - but anyone currently in the program or completed it? I am trying to decide between here and 2 other schools. How are the classes structured? can you see the lectures online and/or pre-recorded? Or do you have to physically be on campus for all the classes? I know obviously for labs and clinical you must be present. I'm referring to the lecture portion.
And also any other feedback and advice you can give. Thank you!!
