Applications are open for FAU's January 2015 enrollment date! With just over 4 months until the deadline and 8 months to the start of the program, now seemed like as good a time as any to start a forum to ask questions, relay information, and support possible future classmates.
To start off, I was wondering if any one knew if they normally offer a ABSN program that begins in the Spring. I had only heard of admittance to the Summer semester at the beginning of May.
I just realized I have hold on my account -_- due to orientation (no idea I had to go to that) what do I do!!! I cant find the virtual orientation link?!!!!
I just spoke with a bunch of people, and they said I did not have to do orientation either, so they removed the holds, and I emailed the person who emailed me about the holds but I got an automatic reply message, which is strange because I just spent the morning emailing them, but anyway idk anymore.
Did you get an email stating a reason why you are not registered? If not they maybe not done registering everyone yet.
I hope we are registered by the end of today because then it is Christmas holidays. I received no email but I'm getting impatient!! I might call by 2 pm if no update
I heard its a hold for not turning in immunization records. I went into fau yesterday for something else I needed to change and by luck she told me I had a hold for immunizations so I took care of it quick and now I'm registered for at least one class so far. That may be your issue bc I know everyone did their immunizations for the certified profile but not for the school. I had no idea until they told me ! I hope that helps but their office closes at noon today for the holidays.
I didn't get my owl card or parking pass yet because I thought you had to be registered for classes first. Now that we are im hoping you can do it online or else we will have to wait until January
