Applications are open for FAU's January 2015 enrollment date! With just over 4 months until the deadline and 8 months to the start of the program, now seemed like as good a time as any to start a forum to ask questions, relay information, and support possible future classmates.
To start off, I was wondering if any one knew if they normally offer a ABSN program that begins in the Spring. I had only heard of admittance to the Summer semester at the beginning of May.
I think last year they got their schedules pretty late too. No, I don't think they will push back classes.. But I agree with you that it would make me feel better to know I'm registered!
I emailed Juliet asking about the email from the registrars office and they said they responded to them already. So we'll probably get schedules soon:woot:
So now that I've quit my job, ended my lease, and signed a new lease down there I've learned from financial aid that I'm not going to get near enough money to cover tuition, books, etc, let alone a home for my family. I am so stressed! Have you guys figured out how you're going to pay for this?
Hey guys, I decided to make a Facebook group for us. I think it will be easier to communicate and hopefully be a good tool to use during school as well. I named the group FAU Accelerated Nursing 2015. My name is Maggie Wight. Hopefully that makes it easy to find.

Could you try taking out private loans? I'm going to work 1-2 shifts serving so that's atleast $100-250 a week hopefully. Maybe you can try something like that? It may be stressful and seem impossible but in the long run it will be best for family to try and make it. I hope all works out

I got that email yesterday too. You don't think they'll push back the start date of class do you?
Man I'd feel so much better with a schedule in my hand right now lol
