Applications are open for FAU's January 2015 enrollment date! With just over 4 months until the deadline and 8 months to the start of the program, now seemed like as good a time as any to start a forum to ask questions, relay information, and support possible future classmates.
To start off, I was wondering if any one knew if they normally offer a ABSN program that begins in the Spring. I had only heard of admittance to the Summer semester at the beginning of May.
I agree totally, I think the answers will come probably this week to beginning of next week because some people need to make travel arrangements. I'm in west palm beach but I know some people flew in for interviews.
I definitely think they interviewed more than 80 people but they keep a pretty firm cap on admitting 40 for the ABSN and 40 for the Traditional track. It could be a good sign that they wanted to see more candidates in person rather than making cuts based on our stats.
As we prepare for our potential future, worrying about travel arrangements, apartment hunting and even potential roommates. Why not listen to some music. Enjoy =)
Did anyone else get an email stating that we had to accepted into the the school first before getting accepted into the nursing program? I'm pretty sure I got my acceptance into the undergrad school part. Maybe it was just a mass email.
Someone else said it's 2 months from today that we start classes and that was a big shocker to me! I didn't think of it like that! Now I'm nervous even thinking, if I'm accepted, how I will have no life soon!
Good luck everyone -- I know we are all very qualified, they must have a difficult decision right now. But what is meant to be will be and if it's not FAU then something better is in store for us :)
