Applications are open for FAU's January 2015 enrollment date! With just over 4 months until the deadline and 8 months to the start of the program, now seemed like as good a time as any to start a forum to ask questions, relay information, and support possible future classmates.
To start off, I was wondering if any one knew if they normally offer a ABSN program that begins in the Spring. I had only heard of admittance to the Summer semester at the beginning of May.

I have been accepted to Remington's Accelerated Program in Lake Mary so I'm waiting to make my decision if FAU would just send out the letters already!
I'm in the process of finding a place to live as I will be getting married December 7th. This wait is absolutely KILLING ME!
I don't think I can wait much more, really starting to get a lot of anxiety..... any suggestions?
I would suggest prayer, meditation, working out, anything to positively channel that. I'm praying and exercising. I'm starting to get annoyed because I feel like they aren't really giving us adequate time to prepare to make our decisions on schools much less make orientation which is so far scheduled for next saturday. I live close but for those who are out of state that ticket is going to be expensive. I feel bad.

I've tried all of the above! Yoga's been really helpful calming my nerves but sometimes it just gets to me, especially as more time passes. I also live in the area and I'm actually finishing up my prerequisites at FAU now so i'm there every day which I think makes it even harder. I even have class in the nursing building three times a week so i'm literally right there!

Yeah, Lately this wait is getting to me too!
Its quite frustrating I dont know if it really takes that long to make the decision. Nova made theirs within like 1 week, and I was notified by remington within 24 hours. I get so excited anytime my email notifications show up! I JUST WANT TO KNOW!
I submitted my application to UM on the 28 of October and heard from them yesterday! I guess theres a lot that goes into it since they have the interview to factor in. But im really hoping well hear something today since the orientation is supposed to be next week. So its really killing me!!
