Applications are open for FAU's January 2015 enrollment date! With just over 4 months until the deadline and 8 months to the start of the program, now seemed like as good a time as any to start a forum to ask questions, relay information, and support possible future classmates.
To start off, I was wondering if any one knew if they normally offer a ABSN program that begins in the Spring. I had only heard of admittance to the Summer semester at the beginning of May.
Best of luck to everyone!
Yeah I would assume they would look at your transcript or what you put on NursingCas. I know people have said that your UG gpa is not really taken into much consideration unless it is below a 3.0, but say if you've taken higher level anatomy courses would they take that into consideration when doing science gpa? Or if your bachelor degree is in a health-related field does that affect their choices when comparing another applicants?
I would think that since we are at the interview phase of admission, it's less about our academics now and more about personality and if we are a right fit for the school. I'm sure every applicant at this point has excellent academics. I wouldn't worry too much about bonus points for classes. Focus on the interview as your opportunity to show them how you stand out... not only by your academics but other things as well! Hope this helps! Good luck!

Hey! Just joined, I got an interview on Sat at 1pm as well!
Does anyone know if they add "bonus points" to your application if you have taken higher level science and math courses? I know FSU did and I didn't know that until it was passed that point unfortunately.
