Applications are open for FAU's January 2015 enrollment date! With just over 4 months until the deadline and 8 months to the start of the program, now seemed like as good a time as any to start a forum to ask questions, relay information, and support possible future classmates.
To start off, I was wondering if any one knew if they normally offer a ABSN program that begins in the Spring. I had only heard of admittance to the Summer semester at the beginning of May.
Best of luck to everyone!
Hey all, I just joined this discussion. I have an interview as well! I requested mine for Friday since they are doing two days. Last February, during my last semester of undergrad, I received an interview for the traditional track and it was a group interview. I am assuming that the accelerated track will be very similar. The group consisted of 6-10 applicants and the questions were very basic. If you've been on any type of interview, you can handle this one just fine. They typically select the top 80 students to interview and accept the top 40. I was definitely a lot more nervous than I should have been. My advice: relax! The interviewers can be intimidating since they do not respond after you answer their questions (it feels like you've answered wrong). I would not worry too much. They ask 4-6 questions and the overall interview takes about 30-45 min.

Questions like why do you want to be a nurse or why you want to go to FAU???

I don't understand why they give us these timelines if they don't mean anything
