Hi guys, I am currently a student at Farmingdale under the STS major. I plan on applying for the Advanced Standing Nursing Program in Spring 2021. I have not seen a thread for Spring 2021 so thought I would make one. Everyone can write their stats, TEAS scores, GPA, questions, and any concerns about the program on here. Hopefully this helps everyone out!
I applied and got accepted with a 12g a year academic scholarship but it is still soo expensive. Another downfall is they moved the Spring start to a Summer start. How could I be sure they wouldn't push it back again?! Lastly, it is a 4 yr program regardless of how many prerequisites you have completed. That was probably the ultimate deciding factor that it wasn't for me.

I didn't realize it was a 4 year program. Not for me either. Thank you
I am more worried that I messed something up on the application than anything else. Does anyone else's portal say just Nursing-BS.....nothing with advanced standing? I hope I applied to the right Nursing program. From what I recall, only the Advanced standing starts in Spring but it doesn't say anything about advanced standing on my portal.

No I meant TEAS score below 70. Not the average scores. So for me I have a overall and prerequisite GPA of a 3.8 but my TEAS score is a 72. He told me that since my GPA is so high I have a good chance of being considered and if I don't get considered at the very least I will be waitlisted.
You have a great chance of getting in, based on what I learned from the information session I think you will for sure get in. Good luck to you!
