Hi guys, I am currently a student at Farmingdale under the STS major. I plan on applying for the Advanced Standing Nursing Program in Spring 2021. I have not seen a thread for Spring 2021 so thought I would make one. Everyone can write their stats, TEAS scores, GPA, questions, and any concerns about the program on here. Hopefully this helps everyone out!

Okay thank you so much, when did you apply and have you gotten any answer back from them yet. I applied on the 12th but haven't received anything back yet.
Just now, Renee 825 said:I applied on the 1st and still haven't heard anything. They told me its usually 4 weeks but with the heavy load of applications this time of year its more like 6 weeks. The waiting is killing me, but I really want farmingdale or Nassau so those are the killers.
Same I am so scared I really want to get into some program. Good luck to you!

no they said it narrowed down to about 150 applicants. and from that only 50 will be accepted, he mentioned that they are narrowing it down to the final few now and we will have our final decisions by November 1st. so most likely we will have them this week. good luck to everyone.

I also mentioned my TEAS score being a 72 but my GPA being a 3.8. and he said that if any transfer application is below a 70 they won't be considered but since my GPA is so high I have good chance to be considered and in the worst case waitlisted. It really gave me so much hope and so don't lose hope guys based on what I have read in this thread hopefully we all we will get in.
Ahhh this is so nerve wrecking. I honestly don't think I'll get into farmingdale. It's so competitive and my grades aren't 4.0 in anything. (84 TEAS. 3.8 pre req, 3.6 overall)
I got into suffolk and molloy but I feel like those are less competitive due to cost for molloy and suffolk only being associates.
I just want an answer LOL.

Transfer application below a 70? Is that referring to your average between your TEAS and GPA's. Or just your TEAS score. I'm sorry for so many questions, im just confused.
