Farmingdale State College Spring 2022 Nursing Program

Hi guys, I am currently a student at Farmingdale under the STS major. I plan on applying for the Advanced Standing Nursing Program in Spring 2021. I have not seen a thread for Spring 2021 so thought I would make one. Everyone can write their stats, TEAS scores, GPA, questions, and any concerns about the program on here. Hopefully this helps everyone out!

No you don't need a language to apply. But after we start the program then we will need to take a language.

Hi Guys,

Anyone planning to apply to the Advanced standing program for Spring 2022? I don't see as many post here this year as there have been for previous years and I would love to share this journey with people who can relate.

I applied but I doubt I'll get in. TEAS overall 83. Pre req GPA 3.8. Overall 3.4.

That seems pretty good but who knows what this years pool will look like. I am taking my TEAS today. I will share my stats after. What are your backup schools?

Good luck girl. I am applying to but I have to make a TEAS on October 11. Unfortunately I only get one try on it, but I have been studying like crazy so hopefully I get a good grade. And 83% is really really good!

I am having trouble calculating my GPA. I have an overall GPA of 3.8 and I have all A's on my prerequisites except for an A- in chem and a B in BIO170T. Can anyone calculate my prerequisite GPA for me?

how did you guys send the application in? I am a little confused on that part do I have to talk to my advisor at Farmingdale?

I found an online GPA calculator and I believe it will be around a 3.9 depending on how many credits each A is worth ect.

I applied to suffolk and molloy also. Got accepted to molloy. Have to pay a 400$ non refundable deposit by 10/1 to hold my seat but I'm apprehensive. The program is sooooo expensive. I'll be in almost 100k debt by the end of it.
